How can I add new job locations in a vacancy?
FollowIn Altamira HRM, the job locations of job postings are list-type codings. To modify, remove, or add new locations to the list, you can ask an Administrator account to follow these steps:
- Go to Setup
> User Interface > Lists
- Search for Locations in the search bar and click on the name “Locations” (Description: CVs by locations, Vacancies/locations)
- To add a new location, make sure no item is selected in the left column, then click the New button in the upper right corner
If you need to create a location as a subcategory of another, select the main location with your mouse and then click the + New button in the upper right corner - Rename the New item with the location you want to add
- Click Save
If you need to add multiple locations at once:
- Click Bulk insert
- Enter the location names, using one line for each item
- Click Add, and the new locations will appear on the left
How a location behaves:
- When you change the location's Name, the module asks whether you want the position to be automatically recalculated based on the new name
- The geographic position can be set using the interactive map and the built-in Google Places search
- Region and Country are filled in automatically from the position and cannot be edited manually
- Region and Country are used for proximity search and for the correct publication of vacancies on job boards
