Modifying the items of a list
FollowThere are several drop-down lists available in Altamira HRM. Lists are both system and customized ones. You can add one or more items to any drop-down list. For example, in the Degrees drop-down list you can add new elements such as Bachelor's Degree or PhD.
To add an item in a list
- Click on Setup > Application > Coding from the main menu
- Search the list using the Quick Search field
- Click on the name of the list you wish to edit
- The list designer is displayed, you can see a tree representation of the elements in the list on the left side and a property page on the right one
- In the tree view, click on the name of the parent element. If you want to add a top-level element, click on the first element as the parent element. The first element is called with the name of the list
- Click on the New link in the command bar at the top of the tree
- On the right side, replace the New element wording with the name you wish to assign to the new element you are adding
- Click on Save
To add more than one item at once
- Repeat all the steps explained in the previous paragraph
- Click on the Bulk insert link in the command bar at the top of the tree
- On the right side, paste the names of the new elements using one line for each element
- Click on Save
