To convert a presence reason into an absence reason, or vice versa, avoid deleting the existing reason and creating a new one.

It is recommended to modify the existing reason instead, to prevent losing any previous requests associated with it.

First, go to Settings > Application > Codifications > Reasons, and locate the reason you want to transform.

Open the reason and modify the Type field by setting it to either “Presence” or “Absence”, depending on the transformation you need to apply.

Then, configure the additional fields below the Type section according to the appropriate guide:

- For Presence reasons: Configure a Presence Reason 

- For Absence reasons: Configure an Absence Reason
