Configure a rest model (Saturday/Sunday)
FollowTo create a new rest model:
- Click Settings
> Application > Codifications
- Search for the Presence Model codification
- Click New
- Enter the name of the shift in the Name field (e.g. "Full-time Rest")
- Select Days in the Type field
- Click Save
- Fill in the Base section with the required data
- Create the Time Slots
- Order the time slots in the correct sequence
- Click Save
BASE
The Base section includes the following fields:
- Name*: enter the name of the rest day type (e.g. Full-time Rest)
- Type*: this field is pre-filled with Days
- Maximum duration (hours/minutes): enter the maximum number of rest hours. The system will not assign additional work hours beyond this limit. If left blank, there is no maximum duration limit. The maximum duration is used when daily hours are defined through weekly or monthly schedules.
- Minimum working day duration (hours/minutes): enter the minimum number of work hours the employee must perform.
If there are no weekly schedules, both maximum and minimum duration fields must be filled in to avoid anomalies.
- Punch type*: select No punches from the dropdown menu
- Punches accepted from: enter 00:00
- Punches accepted to: enter 23:59
- Active: check this box to make the rest model active and visible in the back office
TIME SLOTS
Click the Time Slots tab to access the form:
- Configure the rest slot
- Configure the overtime slot
Note: Once time slots are created, it is essential to place them in the correct order using the Order button (see final section Ordering of time slots).
Ordering of time slots
Once created, make sure the time slots are ordered in the following sequence:
- Click Order
- Drag and arrange the time slots in this sequence:
- 0 - Overtime
- 1 - Rest
- Click Save
