Recruiting Workflow
FollowWorkflows are central to the Altamira Recruiting platform and are the infrastructure that empowers recruiters to screen, select and hire candidates. Workflows are usually setup when the organization deploys Altamira Recruiting but new workflows can be added at any time.
Workflows divide the recruiting process into statuses representing the phase the candidate has reached in the recruiting process. A typical status list for a workflow would look like this:
- Screening
- Summon for 1st interview
- 1st interview
- Summon for 2nd interview
- 2nd interview
- Hired
- Not suitable
Each status is then associated with a set of outcomes.
In our example, Screening would be associated with the outcomes Passed and Failed. The outcomes are then associated with an action, in our example Passed would be associated with moving the CV to the status Summon for 1st interview and Failed would be associated with moving the CV to the status Not suitable.
So when a recruiter clicks on the Screening status she is shown the outcomes Passed and Failed. Clicking on Passed will automatically move the candidate to Summon for 1st interview; clicking on Failed will automatically move the candidate to Not suitable.
Workflows can also manage meetings and tasks. In our example, if the Summon for 1st interview outcome is Successful that outcome can move the candidate to the 1st interview status and create a new 1st interview meeting for the recruiter. The meeting will show up in the candidate form and in the recruiters Calendar.
