Creating or editing vacancies
FollowCreate a New Vacancy
- Click on Recruiting > Vacancies > New
- In the Categories tab, enter the Location and Business Unit > click Create
- Then fill out the form with the required information. You can edit the text as you wish using the formatting toolbar.
- Click Save
You can use a text editor directly in the browser to edit the vacancy. The text editor has a toolbar (click the arrow to expand it) that includes basic formatting options such as bold, italic, and font color. You can also insert links, images, and videos.
If you need more space to edit the document, you can enlarge the editor using the enlarge button available in the toolbar.
The form displays the vacancy data across several tabs that can be customized via the Views and Forms Management section (from Settings > User Interface > Views and Forms Management). Typically, the vacancy tab contains the following fields:
- Reference: a customizable identifier that allows you to assign a code or abbreviation to the vacancy (not visible to candidates)

Title: represents the name of the vacancy and should be carefully chosen to attract the right candidates. Here are some tips on how to use it effectively:

Clarity and precision: the title should clearly describe the role and avoid ambiguity

Avoid overly long titles, an effective title is concise and to the point, typically between 3 and 7 words

Targeted keywords, include terms candidates are likely to search for online, such as seniority (Junior, Senior), department (Marketing, IT, Sales) or work arrangement (Remote, Hybrid, On-site)

Consistency with the vacancy description, the title should reflect the content of the job offer to avoid setting the wrong expectations.

National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): an internal field used to classify the vacancy based on the employment contract applied to employees. This field helps to:

Ensure consistency in job offers, making sure the contract specified is in line with company policies

Facilitate candidate administration by linking the vacancy to specific contractual conditions

Improve internal search effectiveness by allowing vacancies to be filtered by applicable CCNL

Role: an internal field used to classify the vacancy based on the associated company position. This field helps to:

Standardize job offer categorization, facilitating comparisons between similar positions.

Enhance internal search and reporting, enabling filters by role during selection.

Link the role to contractual and salary levels, supporting more efficient management of job offers.

Vacancies can also be tagged so candidates can search them through the Career Centre's job search engine. Typically, vacancies are tagged by Location and Business Unit.
