Link builder
FollowAltamira Recruiting always tries to track the source of a CV, which shows within a candidate's profile in the "Tracking - URL" section.
Sometimes, however, the information on the CV source is not sent automatically because the job board on which you published does not allow to receive such data, or because you have sent the link to the vacancy to a group of candidates via email or social networks.
For this type of case, you can use the Link builder:
- Publish the vacancy
- Go to Vacancies
- Click on the edit icon
next to the vacancy you are interested in to access the Properties tab
- Click on the Multiposting tab
- Enter the referer. The keyword that will appear in the Tracking - URL field. Choose a word that makes sense to you and which you will remember
- Once the chosen term has been entered, click on Produce link
At this point, by clicking on the icon at the right of the field you can copy the link to the vacancy (in the Job detail page) or to the application form (in the CV page) and publish it on a site, send it by email etc. All those who send their application by accessing the career site from this link will be tracked through the indicated referer.
The use of referers is decisive in the quality of reports such as "Hired by source" and "CV received by source", especially when many CVs are received from "unconventional" sources.
However, the link builder doesn't necessarily serve only to trace the source of the CV. You could also use it, for example, to “mark” all CVs sent to a particular employer branding campaign or to insert the link within the published vacancies directly from the job portals.
