Configure the Goals Catalog
FollowConfigure the goal catalog to define a single set of goals at the evaluation project level. Reuse them across multiple processes, assign them automatically or manually to PMPs, and, if needed, synchronize updates with employee sheets.
To configure it, you’ll need knowledge of:
Configure the Views
The section already includes system views, but you can create or associate custom ones.
- Go to Settings > Views and Forms Configurator and search for Project Goals
- In Linked Dynamic Sections, select Evaluation Project Goals
- Select or create the New, Edit, and List views based on the Project Goals entity
- Save
Settings
Go to Settings > Performance > PMP Types and open the relevant PMP Type (tab Basic Data). Enable the following options:
1) Use project goals
- Enable the catalog in the project (adds the Goals tab)
- Enable the Goal Update button in the Actions menu of the project goal
2) Allow manual assignment of project goals
- Enable the Assign button in the Actions menu of the project goal
Assignment behavior
- Automatic: when enabled, the goal is immediately assigned to all PMPs in the project
- Manual: you can choose which PMPs to assign the goal to
Note: if Allow manual assignment is not enabled, all goals will be automatic and the Assign button will not be available
Synchronization (Project → PMP)
Define how changes to project goals are transmitted:
- Synchronized: changes are automatically applied to PMP sheets
- Not synchronized: changes remain only within the Project Goals document (PMP sheets are not updated)
Filtering Project Goal Lists
To properly display project goals in lists, the Goal Template field was added to the Project Goals entity. Use this field as a filter to exclude goals copied into individual PMPs.
Deleting a Project Goal
When a project goal is deleted, all copies previously assigned to individual PMPs will also be deleted.
