Setting Up Additional Security in PMP
FollowThe PMP’s additional security feature is designed to offer a more precise level of customization in managing evaluation processes, allowing companies to define exactly who can participate. Thanks to this function, it is possible to manage specific exceptions by adding or limiting the employees involved without changing the global role and organization chart settings.
Prerequisites
- Administrator role required to enable the option and assign who can modify security settings.
Configuration Procedure
- Go to PMP > Settings
- Select a PMP Type and open the Basic Data tab
- In the Security section, enable "Allow adding employees participating in the process"
- Select the user authorized to make changes (role: Administrator) and click Save
Usage in the Employee’s PMP
- In the employee’s process details, a lock icon appears next to the Actions button
- Click the lock icon and choose the mode:
- Organization Chart Only: only the employees defined in the organization chart participate.
- Add Employees: add users who participate as direct manager in addition to those already defined (click Add User, select, and Save)
- The main evaluator remains the one defined when the process was initiated
Use Cases
- Involve a project manager as an additional supervisor for a specific evaluation
- Restrict participation to only the employees defined in the organization chart
Notes
- The additional security feature extends or restricts participation but does not modify the process’s main evaluator.
