Setting up CV alerts
FollowCV alerts notify you by email when CVs meeting the criteria they have defined are received. To configure a CV alert:
1st Method:
- Open a vacancy and click on Properties
- Go to the Advanced tab
- Next to the CV Alert option, click on Enable
- Choose the CV alert frequency
- The CV Alert Recipient field is auto-filled with the email address of the user who created the vacancy
2nd Method:
- Click Settings
> Recruiting > CV Alert from the top menu
- Click on New at the bottom
- Fill in the form as necessary
- Click on Save at the bottom of the form
The form has the following fields:
- CV Alert name: a descriptive name for the CV Alert. This name will be used when the platforms sends emails to you, so that you can identify the CV Alert
- CV Alert frequency: the frequency with which to send the alert. The alert is only sent at the specified frequency and not every time a new CV matching the criteria arrives
- Vacancy: select from the drop-down menu the vacancy for which you want to set the CV Alert
- Other fields: the other fields are the criteria the CV Alert uses to include candidates in the notification email
Regardless of the method you use to create a CV Alert, you can set up a number of filters to refine the notifications you receive. To do so, simply follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > CV Alert
- Click on the CV Alert you are interested in. Fill in the fields you want to use as filters for the notification emails
Please note: that you can specify a full text query expression in the Free text field.
