Creating a new attendance schedule
FollowTo create a new shift cycle
- Click on Setup
> Application> Codings - Search the Attendance schedules coding in the quick search bar or scrolling through the pages
- Click on New
- Enter the name of the new attendance cycle
- Check the Active box
- Click on Save
- After saving, the Days section will appear
- Enter the days to be associated with the attendance schedule by clicking on New day
- Fill in the basic data form with the following information:
- Name: if the working week has all the days with the same times you can enter the Standard name, if instead the working week has days with different times, you can specify a name that allows you to distinguish the different shift cycles (e.g. if from Monday to Wednesday an employee has one type of day, while from Thursday to Friday he has another)
- Normal working hours: select the type of day you want to associate with the attendance schedule from the drop-down menu
- Saturday working hours: select the type of day you want to associate with the attendance schedule from the drop-down menu (eg. Full time rest if it's a rest day)
- Sunday working hours: select the type of day you want to associate with the attendance schedule from the drop-down menu (eg. Full time rest if it's a rest day)
- Holiday working hours: select the type of day you want to associate with the attendance schedule from the drop-down menu (eg Holiday rest)
- Click on Save
Alternatively, you can copy an existing attendance schedule that has an identical or similar configuration to that of the new one you want to create and change its settings.
