Career Centre: overview and functionality
FollowThe Career Centre is the public area of the Altamira system dedicated to publishing open positions and managing job applications. Through the Career Centre, candidates can browse job vacancies, view position details and submit their application online.
Below is a description of the main structure of the Career Centre and how its sections work.
Career Centre
The Career Centre is the main access point for candidates interested in working for the company. It can be accessed without authentication and can be graphically customized with a logo, corporate colors and display language.
The Career Centre includes:
- the list of open positions
- individual job vacancy details
- the application submission form
- the candidate’s private area
Vacancy listing
The listing section displays all currently published job vacancies.
Vacancies can be filtered by:
- keyword
- location
- business area
Candidates can choose how vacancies are displayed:
- list view
- card view
The dedicated icon allows candidates to switch between views, adapting the display to their preferences.
For each vacancy, the following main information is shown:
- job title
- work location
- business area or function
- publication date
From the listing, it is possible to access the vacancy detail page.
Job description
The vacancy detail page contains all the information related to the selected position.
Typically, this section includes:
- job title
- location
- business area
- full job description
The job description is configurable by the company and may include the role description, responsibilities, required qualifications, skills and additional information useful to the candidate.
From the vacancy detail page, candidates can start the application process using the dedicated button.
CV form
The CV form is the page where candidates enter their personal data and upload their résumé.
The form may include:
- personal details (first name, last name, email, phone number)
- CV upload
- additional attachments
- custom application questions
- privacy notice and mandatory consents
Form fields can be configured as mandatory or optional based on the company’s settings.
Application submission link
Once the form has been completed, the candidate can submit the application using the dedicated submit button.
The system verifies the accuracy of the entered data and, if successful:
- records the application in the system
- displays a confirmation message on screen
- sends an automatic confirmation email to the candidate
Candidate private area
The candidate private area is available after logging into the Career Centre. Once authenticated, candidates can access dedicated features through the My account menu.
From the My account menu, candidates can:
- access the main page of the private area
- change their password
- log out
- delete their account
The following sections are available within the private area:
- My CV: In this section, candidates can upload and store their résumé. The saved CV can be reused for future applications
- My Job Alerts: This section allows candidates to create and manage automatic alerts for newly published vacancies. Alerts are sent by email based on the selected criteria
- Vacancies you have applied for: This section displays the list of positions the candidate has applied for. For each vacancy, the application status can be consulted
