In Altamira HRM, Smart Working (also known as remote work, telework, or agile work) is classified as a presence reason — that is, a justification requested through the same workflow used for absence requests, but which instead records a presence rather than an absence.

The Smart Working reason is configured together with other absence justifications. Therefore, it can be requested in the same way as other types of absences from the Requests menu.

Since Smart Working corresponds to a regular working presence, days requested with this reason do not require clock-ins from the employee.
