Associating an HR Manager with an employee

To associate an HR manager with an employee: 

1. Click on Employees > Positions
2. Open the position of the employee with whom you want to associate the HR Manager by clicking on the edit icon next to the employee name
3. Click on Actions > Assign HR Manager
4. Select the employee to be appointed as HR Manager by ticking the corresponding dot
5. Click on Assign

Inheriting an HR Manager

Inheriting an HR Manager means that when an HR Manager is associated with an employee, all of their collaborators, and the collaborators of their collaborators, will automatically inherit the same HR Manager. 

At the bottom of the position tab for each employee, the HR Manager section is displayed with the Inherit HR Manager box selected. 

If you wish to remove an HR Manager automatically inherited: 

1. Click on the next to the HR Manager's name
2. Uncheck the Inherit HR Manager box
3. Click on Save  

Example: 

• Jane Austen has been assigned as HR Manager of employee Fermina Daza
• The collaborators of Fermina Daza according to the organizational chart are:
  • Florentino Ariza, Clarice Orsini De Medici and Andrej Bolkonskij
• Fermina Daza's collaborators automatically inherited Jane Austen as HR Manager
• The position form of Florentino Ariza, Clarice Orsini De Medici eandAndrej Bolkonskij will display Jane Austen as inherited HR Manager
