Creating and editing CV export templates
FollowTo create a new CV export template:
- Click on Setup > Templates > Export from the top menu
- Click on New form the top left context menu
- Fill in the form as necessary
- Click on the Save button
The form has the following fields:
- Create/edit export job
- Description: Specify the export template name
- Export format: You can select the format to use when exporting data, the options are Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Altamira XML and Text Delimited
- Transfer type after export: Select an option for how to transfer the data, the options are email and FTP
- Notify when the export job completes: Select the box if you want to send the email notification to the email address, after the export is complete
- Notify the user submitting the job: Notify the user who submits the job after the export is complete
- Encrypt the exported file with the password of the user submitting the job: Encrypts the ZIP file that is used to package the data with the users password
- Type of view: Select the type of view such as whether it is a report
- Starting table: Select the starting table
- View: Select the view that appears according to table you selected in Starting table drop-down list
- Email transfer options
- Send the user submitting the job the exported file: Select User submitting the job to send the data to the user who submitted this job. Select Specific user and specify a valid email address to send the data to a specific email address
- FTP transfer options
- FTP server: The host name or IP address of the FTP server
- TCP Port: The TCP port of the FTP server
- Username: The username to use when logging on to the FTP server
- Password: The password to use when logging on to the FTP server
- Remote directory: The remote directory to use when uploading the data
- Secure FTP (FTP over SSL): Use FTP over SSL. Not this is SFTP not FTPS
- Security mode in SSL connections: Select the security mode whether implicit or explicit
- Compress the output files in a ZIP archive: Select this option, if you want to see the output files in a zip file format
- Passive mode: Select this option, if you want to see the output files in a passive mode
- File name format: Specify the format for file name
- Test FTP connection: Click this link to test your settings for the FTP connection
- Settings for Text delimited format
- Field delimiter: The character to use as a field delimiter
- Date format: The date format
- Decimal separator: The character to use as a decimal delimiter
- Text delimiter: The character to use as a text delimiter
- File encoding: The encoding of the file
