Remaining Leave Balances: Viewing and Interpretation on the Platform
FollowAccruals are a useful tool for managing attendance and absences in Altamira.
Check the updated balance of the main counters related to working time: vacation, leave, ROL, time bank, and any other items configured based on company needs.
The system automatically calculates each accrual, considering what you accumulate over time and the absences you record or request.
Check your accruals in real time to verify availability and correctly manage absence requests.
Access your accruals
- Go to the employee profile
- Select the Attendance and Absences tab
- Click on "Detail" next to Absences
- Scroll down to the My remaining leave days section
Read and interpret accrual fields
Typically, for each type of counter, refer to the following fields to understand your updated balance:

Expected Remaining Leave Days
Calculates the accruals to be used by the end of the year. The system updates this value based on accrued, used, and requested data. -
Accrued
If configured, calculates how many days or hours you have accumulated in the current period, based on your contract settings. This value increases over time. -
Used
Calculates how many days or hours you have already taken. The system updates this value each time an approved request is used. -
Scheduled
Shows the days or hours already requested for future dates. Even if not yet taken, these are already deducted from the expected balance. The calculation is made using the "Quantity" field in the requests.
The system automatically updates the values based on recorded absences and submitted requests.
If a day presents an anomaly, calculations related to that day are excluded.
