Configure skills
FollowThe skills to be associated with employees are codings configurable by the System Administrator. They can be set up both in the list of general skills and within each company role, so that each employee automatically receives the relevant skills list based on their role.
1) Configure general skills
- Add new skills individually
- Go to Settings
> Application > Codings
- Search for the coding Skills
- Select the root folder Skills and click the New button on the top command bar. A folder labeled New item will appear on the right.
- Replace the label by entering the name of the new skill
- Click Save
- Add multiple skills at once
- Go to Settings
> Application > Codings
- Search for the coding Skills
- Select the root folder Skills and click Multiple insert on the top command bar. A folder labeled New item will appear on the right.
- Enter the list of skills. Note: each item must be on a new line — only one item per line (e.g., line 1 Proactivity, line 2 Problem solving, line 3 Leadership, etc.). You can paste the list from an Excel or Word file.
- Click Save
2) Configure skills associated with roles
- Go to Settings
> Application > Codings
- Search for the coding Roles
- Select the desired role
- Open the tab Skills required by the role
- Click Add skills
- Select the skills from the list by checking the corresponding boxes
- Click Save
