Creating a New Lesson
FollowThe New Lesson function allows you to add training content to a course in Classroom/FAD or eLearning/SCORM mode, depending on the settings defined. In Classroom or eLearning courses, you first access an initial form that leads you to the correct type-specific form; in Blended courses (courses that combine synchronous lessons in Classroom/FAD and asynchronous content in eLearning/SCORM), you can choose the type of lesson to create.
This feature speeds up the organization of the training path: you can quickly enter the main information, attach materials (when applicable), and immediately make the lesson available to learners according to the configured learning order.
Available Lesson Types
- Classroom/FAD → for classroom or live online courses (Teams, Zoom, Meet)
- eLearning/SCORM → for digital self-paced courses
To create a new lesson in an eLearning course:

- Select the eLearning course where you want to add the lesson
- Open the Lessons tab
- Click New and fill in the Name and optional Description fields > click Save
- Upload the attachments (SCORM, xAPI, video, PDF, external URLs) > click Save
The attachments you can upload include:
- Uploaded to the platform: SCORM, xAPI, video, PDF files
- External URL: only YouTube, Vimeo, Microsoft Stream
Order of Lessons in eLearning Courses:

- Drag and drop the lessons into the desired sequence
- Click Save
How the employee takes the eLearning lesson
When an employee opens a lesson of this course, they enter the lesson viewer: the content you uploaded on the lesson (SCORM, video, PDF, external URL) is played in the centre area, while any learning material attached at course level stays available in a side panel, without leaving the lesson.
To create a new lesson in a Classroom or Blended course:
- Click Course Management
- Select the Classroom or Blended course where you want to add the lesson
- Go to the Editions tab and choose the edition
- Open the Lesson Calendar tab
- For Classroom courses, select “New Classroom Lesson”.If you enter the lesson dates, they cannot start before the edition’s start date or end after its closing date, and the end date must be later than (or equal to) the start date.
If the dates are outside the allowed range, adjust them or update the edition’s time frame - For Blended courses, select “Add Lesson” and choose whether to create a “Classroom Lesson” or an “eLearning Lesson”
Order of Lessons in Classroom and Blended Courses:
For Classroom lessons, the lessons are displayed by start date. To change the order, update the date/time of the lessons in the Lesson Calendar; the list will automatically realign.
