Tracking Lesson Attendance with the Attendance Register
FollowThe Attendance Register feature allows you to record employee attendance for each lesson of an edition, in a simple way and consistent with the training calendar. You can mark who is Present or Absent and, when needed, manually adjust the Actual Participation Hours.
Thanks to the auto-fill function, when you mark a participant as Present, the system automatically calculates the lesson hours excluding the break; if marked Absent, it sets the value to 0 hours. This helps reduce errors and data entry time.
Important: the Attendance Register is available only for Classroom/FAD lessons (synchronous).
To complete the Attendance Register for a lesson:
For each lesson, you can track employee participation using the Attendance Register. To take attendance:
- Open an Edition > click Lesson Calendar > then click the Lesson name
- Go to the Attendance tab. Here you’ll find the list of employees enrolled in this edition
- In the Attendance Status list, select for each employee:
- Present
- Absent
- The Actual Participation Hours field:
- If you select Present: the Actual Participation Hours field auto-fills with the lesson duration excluding the break. If the field is empty, it will default to 0. If you modify it after the first save, you must manually adjust the duration.
- If you select Absent: the field is automatically set to 0. Note: the Actual Participation Hours field cannot exceed the total duration of the lesson.
- Click Save
