Attaching Course Learning Materials
FollowAttach learning materials to a course (brochures, slides, PDFs, etc.) to make them available and downloadable to enrolled users directly from the platform.
Fill in the title, description, and upload the file — this way, learners will have access to supporting resources alongside their lessons.
To attach learning materials:
- Go to Courses > Course Management and open the edit icon of the course to which you want to attach the material
- Click the Learning Materials tab and select New Material
- Fill in the fields:
- Course: pre-filled with the course you opened. To change it, click Browse → select the course → Select
- Document: enter the title of the material
- Description: enter a short description or any useful information related to this course
- Attachment: click Choose File and upload the document
- Click Save
The material will then be available and downloadable directly from the platform.
In eLearning courses, learning materials can be uploaded at two levels:
- Course level — through the course Learning Materials tab. These materials are shown to the employee in the side panel of the lesson viewer, accessible while taking any lesson of the course.
- Lesson level — as the content of the single lesson (PDF, video, YouTube/Vimeo link, SCORM package). These are played as the central content of the viewer while the employee is taking the corresponding lesson.
If you want a material to stay available at all times from every lesson of the course, upload it at course level. If instead the material is relevant to a single lesson (e.g. the lesson video itself, or the slides accompanying that specific lesson), upload it directly as the lesson content.
