Printing
FollowPrinting in Altamira HRM means displaying a print view of the item you are viewing. Print views are designed for easy reading on screen and for being printer friendly. The platform comes with several built in print views for the many types of data that you can manage. You can also create new print views to present information differently.
To display the print view of an item:
- Open the item's form (for example a CV form, a vacancy form, employee form, etc.). You cannot print items directly form a list, i.e. you cannot print more than one item at a time
- Click on Actions > Print from the top left context menu
- Select a print view you wish to use
- Click the Print button to print the CV
Creating custom print views
The platform provides numerous system print views for all the different types of data that can be managed. If you need to you can create a custom print view either by creating a new one from scratch or by copying an existing one that you then edit.
To create a custom print view from scratch:
- Click on Actions > Print > Printable layout management from the top left context menu in the context menu
- Click on New link to create a new print view
- Edit the print view using the Actions link and the views model
- Click on Save button
To edit an existing print view
- Click on Actions > Print > Printable layout management from the top left context menu in the context menu
- Click on the edit icon
of the print view you wish to edit. Please note that you cannot edit a system print view directly: you must copy it first and then edit the copy.
- Edit the print view using the Actions link and the views model
- Click on Save button
Copying print views
- Click on Actions > Print > Printable layout management in the context menu
- Click on the Copy link corresponding to the print view that you want to copy
- Specify the name of new print view
- Click on Copy button
