The Quick search bar is a quick way to find items without a need to bring up an advanced search form.
To use the field:

1. Locate the Quick search bar at top left side of the screen
2. Type the beginning of the text you are searching for
3. Click on Search. You can also use the Enter key on your keyboard 

The Quick search field always searches in the current context. For example if you are viewing a list of vacancies the Quick search field will search for vacancies whose title starts with the search term you enter, if you are viewing projects it will search for projects, etc.

Please note that the Quick search field is not available in all pages as it is context sensitive and so does not work in pages such as the Homepage/ Dashboard that do not have a specific searchable item.
