Reinstating a discharged employee
FollowIn Altamira Employees, it is possible to reinstate at any time, if necessary, an employee who was previously discharged. The reinstatement will reactivate the employee’s personal record. The employee will be reactivated without the position and user account
Note: The position must be manually reassigned
To reinstate an employee:
- Open the discharged employee’s record from Employees > Employee database
- Click Reinstate
- Enter the hire date in the following format: dd/mm/yyyy
- Click the Reinstate button. The employee will appear in the database without the label (Discharged) as proof of successful reinstatement (the employee is included again in the employee database count)
- Creating and assigning a position to an Employee
- Adding a user to a group
- If you also have the Altamira Attendance module, you must reassign the shift
