When you view the list of leave requests, the list of statuses will appear on the top right menu. The workflow is composed by these statuses.
Workflows are designed by your Administrator user, therefore the exact succession of statuses and outcomes that the workflow entails varies from company to company. The approval process described in this article is only an example, therefore it may not correspond to the one customized for your company.
When you view the list of leave rquests, the total number of requests for each status will also appear on the top right menu. When you click on a status, you will visualize the requests that have reached that stage of the approval process; this way of filtering by status allows you to quickly switch from requests in one status to those in another.
Keep in mind that selecting a status from the sidebar will delete all filters applied. This behavior ensures that all requests that have a certain status will be displayed.
The workflow also appears when viewing a single leave request. There will be a few buttons available at the bottom of the leave request form, depending on the status in which the request is found, which are used to set the outcome of the request and possibly move it to the next status.
