Configuration of Microsoft 365 Safe Links to facilitate the use of Altamira HRM absence requests
FollowTo correctly use absence request emails and approve or reject them quickly, you must properly configure the Microsoft 365 protection policies. This setup is especially important if you use mobile devices to manage approval requests.
The new Microsoft protection systems interact with the Altamira HRM cloud, sometimes causing unwanted side effects. When emails arrive in the user's inbox, Outlook scans the links in the messages and checks whether those addresses could compromise the user's security. This behavior generates errors on the Altamira HRM cloud that cannot be avoided. Therefore, it is necessary to disable these checks for emails coming from Altamira HRM addresses containing links to Altamira HRM domains.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. From the Microsoft 365 homepage, select Security from the left-hand menu:
2. On the new page, open the Threat Management menu and select Policy.
3. On the new page, select the Safe Links panel on the right.
4. Open the policy named Recommended safe links rule.
5. Click the Edit Policy button.
6. Select the Settings submenu to edit the configuration.
7. Add the two domains altamirahrm.com and altamiraweb.com in the box Do not rewrite the following URLs:
8. Save the configuration by clicking the Save button.
