When you view the list of overtime requests, on the left you can also see the total number of overtime entries, divided by the different workflow stages. By clicking on a status, you will display only the overtime requests that have reached that specific stage of the approval process. This way of filtering by status allows you to quickly move from one group of overtime entries to another.
Keep in mind that selecting a status from the sidebar will cancel any other filters that were previously applied. This behavior ensures that you can view all overtime requests currently in that selected status.
The workflow also appears when you open an individual overtime record. At the bottom of the form, you will find several action buttons — which vary depending on the current status — that allow you to indicate the outcome of the overtime request and, if needed, move it to another workflow stage.
