Associating a new badge with an employee whose shift is already active
FollowWhen you associate a new badge with an employee who has an active shift, you must follow the following steps in order:
- Re-open the processed or closed days from the employee's current shift start date (e.g. if the employee's shift start date is February 1st, you will need to re-open all days from that date)
- Enter the badge number in the shift page and save
- In the employee's shift page, associate the clock-ins to the employee from Actions > Associate clock-ins/outs to the badge
- Close, or re-process the previously re-opened days
You can also re-open and close the days all at once filtering by date and workflow status
